Bowling Green and Goosemoor provide wetland birdwatching close to Topsham, where the Clyst meets the Exe. The RSPB names Little Grebe, Pintail and Black-tailed Godwit among the birds to look for, with autumn and winter bringing larger groups of waders and ducks. The Lookout offers sheltered watching when open, while the public routes give further views across water and marsh. Goosemoor can be combined with Bowling Green on the same visit. Keep to the permitted paths and watching facilities: the lagoon and grazing marsh themselves are closed to public access.
