Lynhurst Crescent and the Yeading Brook Valley, Hillingdon
Gutteridge Wood and Meadows combines ancient oak-and-hazel woodland with open ground in the Yeading Brook Valley. The Trust’s autumn selection names Kingfisher and both Green and Great Spotted Woodpeckers, giving a clear reason to pause along the woodland and river edges. The main path and boardwalk provide a route through the reserve, with the Hillingdon Trail linking it to Ten Acre Wood. Choose the Lynhurst Crescent entrance for this visit, and use the connected trail only when the conditions and return journey suit your walk.
