Bull’s Wood is a small coppiced woodland reached on foot from Cockfield. Suffolk Wildlife Trust identifies Marsh Tit, Long-tailed Tit and Treecreeper as birds regularly seen here. Spring flowers are a separate attraction, but the bird list gives a reason to pause along the rides rather than hurry around the short circuit. Treat the route from the village as part of the visit. There is no reserve car park, and a short woodland walk should not be confused with a drive-up viewing facility.
