Felbrigg is a varied estate walk with mixed woodland, open pastures, restored heath and a lake edged by reeds. Woodland birds provide interest throughout the year, while the water and wet meadow broaden the possibilities. The National Trust documents Great Spotted and Green Woodpeckers, Skylark and Yellowhammer; the local bird club also records ducks on the lake. Choose the park and estate paths for a leisurely circuit with changing views, allowing time to listen before moving between the open ground and trees.
