Gortmore is a roadside viewpoint on Bishop’s Road, looking over Magilligan, Lough Foyle and the north coast. The official Binevenagh bird guide names Peregrine and Buzzard throughout the year, with Fulmar in summer. This makes it a short raptor and coastal-bird stop rather than simply a landscape photograph. Watch from the public viewpoint and keep birds at a distance; the cliffs are not an invitation to seek nesting ledges. The council describes parking and picnic facilities, so a brief watch can fit a journey around the Binevenagh scenic loop. Clear conditions also open views towards Donegal and the Scottish islands.
