King’s Lynn
Lynn Point gives an estuary outlook where the River Babingley meets the Great Ouse on the edge of the Wash. Tidal mud and saltmarsh make it a useful winter watching place, with Wigeon, Pintail and several waders highlighted by NarVOS. The club also names Brent Geese, Knot, Dunlin, Oystercatcher and Bar-tailed Godwit. Birds and the visible feeding ground change as the tide moves, so a patient scan from the public approach can be more rewarding than covering distance. The small arrival area is reached along a rough track from King's Lynn's port, with a simple outdoor visit beyond it.
