Near Derryhubbert, south-west of Lough Neagh
Peatlands Park brings woodland and bog habitats together within one public site. Annagarriff Wood is its wooded nature reserve, with oak and birch surrounded by fen and remnants of raised bog. DAERA names Jay in the canopy and Sparrowhawk and Peregrine among winter hunting birds. The park’s paths give access to this habitat without entering the treacherous fen ground. Annagarriff and the neighbouring Mullenakill reserve are treated as parts of this single park visit, rather than separate additions. The official visitor page carries an October high-wind advisory; confirm the latest access with the operator before travelling.
