Near Wangford, north of Southwold · IP18 6SL

Reydon Wood is a small ancient woodland near Wangford, with coppiced areas and a circular trail. Suffolk Wildlife Trust names Treecreeper and highlights Blackcap and Nightingale song in spring. It adds a sheltered woodland contrast to a Southwold-area coast visit. Reaching the reserve involves walking up Wood Lane, a restricted byway, from the designated parking junction. Allow enough time for this approach and for pauses on the trail. Mud and uneven ground can make the walk more demanding after rain, particularly in winter.
