Milltown Row, west Belfast

Bog Meadows preserves a wetland mosaic beside the M1 in west Belfast, with ponds, reedbeds and meadows linked by formal paths. Ulster Wildlife names summer Sedge Warbler and year-round Tufted Duck and Little Grebe, giving a short visit a clear wetland focus. Hides and easier paths make it useful for a pause within a city day. The operator still carries a notice about greenway construction and partial path closures, so follow current signs and confirm the available route before setting out. The old projected construction duration is not a guarantee that every path has reopened.
