Gorslas
Llyn Llech Owain combines a lake and peat bog with mixed woodland and areas being restored to heath. The council names Little Grebe, Reed Bunting and Green Woodpecker among its birds, giving a visit both wetland and woodland interest. Tracks and nature trails provide public access from the country-park car park. Check with the operator before relying on the boardwalk, as a temporary closure has been reported. The Discovery Tower is currently closed. Other park paths provide walking options, but a visit should follow current signs and avoid assuming that every mapped facility is available.
