Dinmore Hill, near Leominster · HR6 0PY
Queenswood combines an arboretum with ancient native woodland, offering a different Herefordshire birding visit from a lake-side hide session. The Trust names Lesser Spotted Woodpecker and Wood Warbler alongside Great Spotted Woodpecker, Green Woodpecker and Blackcap among its woodland birds. Choose from waymarked routes and take time to listen along rides and glades rather than constantly moving between trees. Some paths use compacted stone for easier access, and mobility Trampers are available to hire. The visitor centre and café provide a practical break during a longer visit. Use the Dinmore Hill arrival and follow the route signs through the public woodland.
