Eywood Lane/B4355 reserve approach, Titley

Titley Pool provides a natural-lake birdwatching stop between Kington and Mortimer’s Cross. The Trust describes winter flocks of Teal, Tufted Duck and Pochard, while the woodland and adjoining pasture broaden the habitats around the water. Use the designated arrival and bird-hide approach for a quiet watch rather than walking into the pool’s rushy margins. Waterfowl nest around those margins from March to July, when unnecessary disturbance must be avoided. Livestock can be present in the approach field, and permissive routes are subject to gate closures. Swimming is prohibited to protect the wildlife.
