Adwick Washland is former farmland restored to wet grassland and marsh in the Dearne Valley. Open views and a mixture of water and grazing ground make it useful for a shorter visit alongside Old Moor. The RSPB names Wigeon, Redshank and Kestrel among its wildlife. A bridleway runs through the site, with a short approach to a central panorama and further paths around the perimeter. The River Dearne forms the southern edge and can be included in a circular walk. Begin from the Furlong Road car park using the operator's parking postcode.
