Near Lledrod
Cors Ian combines a wet valley mire with a drier, gorse-covered hillside. Reed Bunting, Stonechat and Meadow Pipit are among the birds named by the Wildlife Trust, with the different habitats giving a visit more variety than the reserve’s modest size might suggest. A public footpath follows the southern boundary and permissive paths lead towards the hilltop. The mire supports Water Voles and marsh plants, while patches of open water attract dragonflies. This is a walking stop on uneven wetland and hillside ground, rather than a reserve with surfaced circuits and visitor buildings.
