Cross Inn

Rhos Glandenys is a small reserve of three wet grassland compartments near Cross Inn. Standing water, willow-rich hedges and scrub give it a birding interest beyond its summer wildflowers. The Wildlife Trust names Snipe, Jack Snipe and Woodcock as frequent visitors in autumn, winter and early spring. Visitors have open access, but there are no formal paths and the boggy ground makes this a place to explore carefully from the permitted approaches. A bridge and stile connect the fields at the western end. This is a modest wet-pasture stop with very limited parking.
