Bo'ness (2 mi / 3.2 km)

Bo’mains Meadow pairs two grassland compartments near Bo’ness: a former reservoir site in the north and an older, species-rich meadow to the south. Its wildlife selection includes Tree Sparrow, Swallow and Barn Owl, although the operator gives no individual visiting seasons for them. The perimeter route allows a quiet look at this open landscape without crossing the middle of the meadow. The grassland itself is the reason for the reserve’s Coronation Meadow designation. Cattle are currently grazing, so use the gates carefully and give the animals a wide berth.
