Aberdour (2 mi / 3.2 km)

Cullaloe has developed from two reservoirs into a varied wetland, with one basin drained and now supporting willow scrub alongside open water, marsh and meadow. The Trust names breeding Lapwing and Sedge Warbler, and winter visits by Great Crested Grebe and Teal. A viewing screen provides a clear destination for a short visit while keeping observers away from the water margins. The operator describes its approach as wheelchair accessible. That applies to the screen route, rather than every part of the reserve, and the car park may be closed overnight.
