Foscote Road, Maids Moreton · MK18 5EY

Foxcote Reservoir offers a settled hide session in the countryside near Buckingham. BBOWT identifies Wigeon, Coot and Tufted Duck among its winter waterbirds, while the sloping path and boardwalk lead to a raised view over reeds and open water. Arrive quietly and let the first scan take time: feeding birds can disappear against a distant bank until their movement reveals them. The permitted visit centres on the path and hide. Keep within that public approach and leave the reservoir margins undisturbed. This is a compact watching stop, with limited roadside arrival space.
