Near Oaksey, Wiltshire

Lower Moor is a wetland and meadow complex near Oaksey, with three lakes, brooks, ponds and wetland scrapes linked by public paths and boardwalks. The Trust names great crested grebe, teal and goosander on its lakes. Hides at Swallow Pool and Cottage Lake provide places to watch, with wheelchair access confirmed at Cottage Lake. The visitor centre offers a documented arrival and access to the surrounding reserve network. Clattinger, Sandpool and the connecting meadows are treated within this single visit, rather than separate counted stops. Beyond the accessible sections, footpaths can become muddy, so choose the route to match current conditions.
